Inland Empire and Lancaster got after it at San Manuel Stadium.

Bobby Doblado, who is tied for 8th in the CAL in strikeouts with 35, propelled his team to victory over the Lancaster JetHawks. The final score was 7-0, Inland Empire. Jim Unknown closed the door for Inland Empire, picking up his 1st save of the year.

Joel Tryba had a big 2-run double for the 66ers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Inland Empire leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a changeup from Jamie Weber, who is tied for 10th in the CAL in innings pitched with 31.0, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the 66ers ahead, 3-0.

"Bobby did a good job of shutting their lineup down," said Inland Empire manager Jonathan Vasquez.

Lancaster is 8-15 after the defeat.
