Bakersfield third baseman Taylor O'Malley had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Modesto Nuts, 8-3. Mike England earned the save for Bakersfield, his 2nd of the year. With the win, Bakersfield boosts its record to 11-13.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when O'Malley hit a 2-run home run off Ryan Brooks. It propelled the Blaze into the lead, 3-1.

"Just trying to keep things simple and helping the team win any way I can," O'Malley told a local reporter after the game.
