Atlanta and New York got after it at Coca-Cola Field.

The Atlanta Braves overcame a good performance by New York center fielder Bobby Harris to knock off New York, 8-4, at Coca-Cola Field. Harris was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. The Braves, now 7-3, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Early in the game, shortstop Greg Somers had a 3-run home run for Atlanta. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Braves on top, 4-1.

Somers attributed the triumph to "a good team effort."
