The Bakersfield Blaze beat the Inland Empire 66ers by a score of 10-9. Bakersfield first baseman Jim Passerini deserved the lion's share of the credit. Passerini was 2 for 6 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Blaze. Bakersfield reliever Conor Rintala picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Mario Jan was saddled with the loss. With the win, Bakersfield climbs to 9-16.

The game came to a sudden end. In the bottom of the 12th, with one out, Passerini drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It gave Bakersfield the 10-9 walk-off win.
