Inland Empire Gets 6-2 Road Win
The Inland Empire 66ers called upon starter Frank Castro, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Bakersfield Blaze, 6-2. With the win, Inland Empire elevates its record to 11-17.

Inland Empire right fielder Antonio Solis contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a curveball to left-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 27th hit of the season and put the 66ers ahead, 6-2.

"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Castro.
