Crothers Helps Quakes Win, 5-3, with Pair of Homers
The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes polished off the Visalia Rawhide by the score of 5-3. The largest share of the credit belonged to shortstop Grant Crothers. Crothers went 3-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Quakes. Rancho Cucamonga, at 22-6, has sizzled in the early going.
