The Storm grabbed a win, 6-5, at Recreation Park, overcoming a fine effort from Visalia pitcher Alfonso Torres. Torres went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 run. The Storm sit in third place in the South Division with a record of 15-16.

Lake Elsinore used the timely hitting of Jason Patterson to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Storm on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Patterson told the Lake Elsinore Observer.
