Herdman Stellar as Blaze Coast to 10-0 Win
Eric Herdman, who is tied for 3rd in the CAL in innings pitched with 57.0, was terrific for the Bakersfield Blaze in his team's 10-0 triumph over the San Jose Giants. His performance earned Herdman rave reviews. The Blaze saw their win-loss record go to 17-18. At the same time, the Giants fell to 22-13.

Herdman scattered 1 hit over 8.2 innings for the Blaze. With the win, Herdman moves to 3-1 on the year with 51 strikeouts.

"We were able to put some runs on the board," said Herdman after the game.
