Blaze Win in Extras, 7-6
The Bakersfield Blaze had to overcome a big game from San Jose left fielder Alex Bushbaum to leave San Jose Municipal Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning, 7-6, in 10 innings. Bushbaum went 3-5 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. Angelo Soto finished the game for Bakersfield and earned his 2nd save. The win makes Bakersfield 17-18.

Bakersfield used a clutch hit from Jason Mitchell to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Blaze ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said San Jose manager Brian Johnson.
