Angel Morales, who is tied for 8th in the CAL in innings pitched with 48.1, had a strong outing for the Lancaster JetHawks against the High Desert Mavericks at The Hanger. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. Morales, now 2-4, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. The loss makes High Desert 17-20.

Steve Robertson had a big solo home run for the JetHawks in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Lancaster leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he got a sinker from David Shea, who is tied for 2nd in the CAL in complete games with 1, and swatted a home run to left. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the JetHawks ahead, 2-0.

"I like winning," Robertson told the Lancaster Herald. "I may joke around, but when it comes down to it, winning is the most important thing."
