Quakes Handed 4-1 Loss by Lake Elsinore
|
Lake Elsinore pitcher Mike Domzalski did his part in helping his team defeat the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, 4-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Jim Unknown recorded the save, his 1st. The Storm, at 13-26, sit in 4th place in the South Division.
The Storm got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jerry Jackson. For the game, Jackson went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Lake Elsinore a 2-0 lead.
Jackson called it "a solid win."
