The Lancaster JetHawks picked up a win at The Hanger, downing the Inland Empire 66ers, 5-4, in 10 innings. On the mound for Lancaster was right-hander Josh Chambers, who played a pivotal role in the win. Justin Carter, 2-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Lancaster. That's when Alex Ruiz hit a run-scoring double off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Alejandro Rivera to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"I warned the team before the game," losing manager Jonathan Vasquez told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."
