The home team was supported by a raucous crowd at The Hanger.

Due in large part to shortstop Bruce Ruzicka, the Lancaster JetHawks sunk the Lake Elsinore Storm, 9-6. Ruzicka belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Kyle Cutberth locked down his 1st save.

Steve Robertson had a big 2-run home run for the JetHawks in the bottom of the first inning. With Lancaster trailing 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from Ollie Boudreaux, who is tied for 9th in the CAL in quality starts with 5, and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the JetHawks on top, 2-1.

"Ah, the sweet taste of victory," Robertson crowed after the game.

Lancaster now sits at 16-25, while Lake Elsinore falls to 20-21.
