In a tight tilt between the Lake Elsinore Storm and the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, Robbie Castro was the difference-maker. The Lake Elsinore right-hander excelled in his team's 3-2 win in 13 innings. Lake Elsinore reliever Seth Owen picked up the win. Bubba Obradovic took the loss for Rancho Cucamonga. With the win, Lake Elsinore has a record of 19-22. Rancho Cucamonga falls to 28-13.
The Storm got a clutch hit from center fielder Lorenzo de la Rosa. In the bottom of the 13th, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Storm.
"The house was rockin'," said de la Rosa.
