Lancaster and Lake Elsinore got after it at Lake Elsinore Diamond.

The JetHawks grabbed a win, 6-3, at Lake Elsinore Diamond, overcoming a fine effort from Lake Elsinore pitcher Ollie Boudreaux. Boudreaux went 5 innings and allowed 1 run. Angel Morales picked up the win, lifting his record to 3-4 on the season. He struck out 5 and walked 2 in 6 innings, while yielding 3 runs. Picking up his 2nd save was 27-year old right-handed pitcher Justin Carter.

In the top of the 6th, catcher Josh Griswold gave Lancaster the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The JetHawks had been trailing 3-2, but the two-out single off Lake Elsinore pitcher Jonathan Remien changed that -- and Lancaster went on to win.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Griswold told the Lancaster Herald. "It's as simple as that."

The 4th-place JetHawks are now 18-24, the Storm 25-17.
