Mavericks Walk It Off for 18th Win of Season
The High Desert Mavericks beat the Stockton Ports, 6-5, in part because of second baseman Colin Milligan. He went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 3 times. High Desert reliever Ryan Fuller picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Steve Mitchell was tagged with the loss. The Mavericks raised their record to 18-26.

Garrett Vieau was the walk-off hero for High Desert. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mavericks right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Vieau said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
