The 6-5 Modesto win over High Desert was due largely to Andrew Reid. The Nuts left fielder was 2 for 4 with a triple, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Cody Baran wrapped it up, recording his 6th save. The Nuts now have a record of 30-14.

Modesto took a 5-2 lead on Reid's 2nd triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which he hit off Gabe Giron in the top of the sixth, propelled Modesto to the win.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Reid told the Modesto Observer. "But we take nothing for granted."
