Storm Shut Out JetHawks, 3-0
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Lake Elsinore Storm and the Lancaster JetHawks, pitcher Ollie Boudreaux was the difference between victory and defeat. The Lake Elsinore right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-0 Storm win. Their 27-18 record puts the Storm second in the South Division.
Lake Elsinore took the lead, 3-0, on Ryan Curran's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Lancaster pitcher Omar de la Cerda in the bottom of the seventh.
"We played hard and won," said Boudreaux. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
