66ers Win, Gomez drives in 6 runs
The Inland Empire 66ers cruised to a win over the Stockton Ports, 12-4, at San Manuel Stadium. Kyle Gomez, who is tied for 6th in the CAL with a .297 batting average, led the way, going 2-for-4 for Inland Empire. The 66ers now have a mark of 24-26.

With Inland Empire leading 5-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Gomez came up to bat against Stockton pitcher Alex Ibarra. Gomez hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 4th home run of the season put the 66ers on top, 9-0.

Stockton manager Mark Zoss said: "We'll put this one in the trash can and get ready for the next game."
