Storm Capture Close Win
The Lake Elsinore Storm topped the San Jose Giants, 3-2, in California League action at Lake Elsinore Diamond. The game was highlighted by the performance of Lake Elsinore pitcher Matt Cant. The winner was Lake Elsinore reliever Mike Domzalski, now 5-2. The loser was Ryan Briggs. The second-place Storm bumped their record to 32-22.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Lake Elsinore. That's when Jamie Onnen hit a 2-run home run off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Ryan Briggs to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"We put together a nice win," Onnen said.
