Giants Suffer 4-1 Loss to Lake Elsinore
Lake Elsinore pitcher Antonio Rico had a large part in his team beating the San Jose Giants, 4-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Tony Navarro was credited with the save for Lake Elsinore, his 2nd of the season. The win for the Storm raised their record to 30-24.

Jim Turner drew 1 walk for Lake Elsinore. The 24-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Alex Ramirez. It was his 16th walk of the season.
