2-1 Lake Elsinore Win Thrills Crowd
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Lake Elsinore Storm and the Lancaster JetHawks. Lake Elsinore won it, 2-1, in 12 innings. Lake Elsinore starter Tony Rivera was in command. The Storm win now puts them at 26-29.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 12th for Lake Elsinore. That's when Jose Alvarado hit a run-scoring double off 21-year old right-handed pitcher Bill Wood to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"He who laughs last laughs best," Rivera said, postgame.
