Brown Pounds 2 Homers in 4-0 Blaze Win
|
The Bakersfield Blaze stymied the Lancaster JetHawks, 4-0, at The Hanger. Kyle Brown had a good day at the plate. He hit 2 home runs for Bakersfield. The Blaze now own a record of 28-30.
Joel Maxwell, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2108 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Maxwell contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Bakersfield up, 2-0.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Lancaster manager Jose Gomez.
