The Visalia Rawhide defeated the Stockton Ports, 7-2, at Recreation Park. Tim Kase, who is rated as the 61st best prospect by BNN, was a standout performer for Visalia. His 4 hits included 1 single and 3 doubles -- this in addition to the 2 runs he scored and 2 he knocked in. Ryan Pfaltzgraff, the winner, goes to 1-4. The Ports had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Rawhide going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old left fielder Austin Estes came to the plate. Estes hit a run-scoring double on a 1-1 fastball from Stockton hurler Rich Johnson. It was Estes's 13th double of the year.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Estes told a Visalia Citizen reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
