The Lake Elsinore Storm finished off the San Jose Giants, 6-4, in 11 innings. A good share of the credit went to right fielder Jason Patterson. Patterson was 3 for 5 with a triple and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Storm. With the win, the Storm have a record of 33-33.

Alex Sagastume provided a timely hit. The Lake Elsinore first baseman delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the 11th inning to put the Storm on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
