The Inland Empire 66ers gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.

The Inland Empire 66ers took Bakersfield pitcher Alex Montanez's best shot and still were able to claim a win at San Manuel Stadium. The final score had Inland Empire getting past the Blaze, 3-2. Montanez went 7 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 8. The last-place 66ers improved to 26-46.

The two teams entertained the San Manuel Stadium crowd with some good baseball.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Bakersfield skipper Jerry Zuniga.
