A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Lake Elsinore Storm and Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.

Getting offensive support from Dave Ross, the Lake Elsinore Storm topped the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, 9-1. Ross was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Storm. Lake Elsinore occupies last place in the South Division at 28-45.

Kevin McGrath helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 3-0, Storm.

Storm manager Danny Morton had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
