Nuts Lose By a Run at Visalia
Jimmy Love, who is tied for 5th in the CAL in complete games with 1, pitched well, but the Modesto Nuts still fell short, losing, 4-3, to the Visalia Rawhide at Recreation Park. Danny Cruz closed the door for Visalia, picking up his 3rd save of the year. Visalia is in third place in the North Division with a record of 37-36.

Robby Reinoso dealt the Nuts a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with a runner on 3rd and Visalia leading 3-2, Reinoso, who is tied for 8th in the CAL in hits with 73, hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Reinoso told the Visalia Bulletin.
