Lake Elsinore pitcher Bill Pufahl did his part in helping his team defeat the Inland Empire 66ers, 13-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Pufahl, now 3-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 5, walking 6, and allowing no runs. The losing streak for Inland Empire has now reached 5 games.

Lake Elsinore used a well-timed hit by Sean Neidigh to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Storm ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
