Late Rally by Rockies Secures 4-2 Win

Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Colorado Rockies got the win.
The Colorado Rockies called upon starter Casey Neill, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers, 4-2. Neill got the win, improving to 1-2. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Victor Gonzales earned the save for Colorado, his 1st.
Colorado used the timely hitting of Brian Schoenberg to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Rockies on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
Schoenberg called the win a testament to his team's "grit."
The win brings the Rockies to 4-7, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.
