Inland Empire Rallies for 2-1 Win
In a tight tilt between the Inland Empire 66ers and the Lancaster JetHawks, Jose Alonso was the deciding factor. The Inland Empire right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. The save went to Isiah Howard, number 2 for him. With the win, Inland Empire has a record of 34-45. Lancaster falls to 41-38.

Bill Serrano was 1-3 for Inland Empire. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, Serrano had a clutch at-bat. Facing Lancaster hurler Josh Chambers, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the 66ers a 2-1 lead.

"You have to win 1-0, 3-2, 2-1 games if you want to get to where you want to go," said 66ers manager Jonathan Vasquez.
