Late Offense Lifts Modesto to 9-7 Victory
The Bakersfield Blaze could not turn a fine performance from left fielder Dave Stanton into a win. Instead, the Modesto Nuts prevailed, 9-7. Stanton was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. The Nuts go to 45-35, putting them second in the North Division.
