Bakersfield and Visalia duked it out and the Blaze came out victorious.

Tim Kase did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Visalia Rawhide from being beaten, 5-2, to the Bakersfield Blaze at Historic Sam Lynn Ballpark. Kase went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win makes Bakersfield 34-46.

Alejandro Ramos had a big 2-run home run for the Blaze in the bottom of the third inning. With Bakersfield leading 2-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a sinker from 21-year old right-handed pitcher Juan Fierros and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Blaze on top, 4-0.

When asked about his performance after the game, Ramos said: "Like everyone else, I'm just doing my job."
