JetHawks Get Dramatic 2-1 Triumph
The Bakersfield Blaze got a sterling performance from pitcher Marty Cunico, but the Lancaster JetHawks still prevailed, 2-1. Cunico threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Lancaster reliever Mike Belliveau picked up the win, upping his record to 2-5. Gary Thompson absorbed the loss. Lancaster's record now stands at 46-37, placing them second in the South Division.

Lancaster got a knockout punch from Scott Lehman. The first baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Lehman said.
