Twins Earn 7-4 Win Against Braves
The Minnesota Twins beat the Atlanta Braves, 7-4, at Coca-Cola Field. The win was due in part to third baseman Bret McBride, who went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. The Braves, now 4-8, continue their poor start.

Minnesota used a timely hit from Vince Aristondo to get the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the 13th inning to put the Twins ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it made an impact.

In postgame comments, McBride said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
