Stockton Ports starter Joey Wright found his groove in his team's 6-0 win over the Inland Empire 66ers. Wright got the win, improving to 2-2. He gave up 7 hits and walked 1 over 7.1 innings. He allowed no runs. The 'W' lifts Stockton's record to 42-48.

The Ports got a big hit from left fielder Warren Curtis. Facing Inland Empire pitcher Pedro Bellorin in the bottom of the sixth, Curtis pounded a 2-run double to center. His 4th double of the season put the Ports ahead, 4-0.

Inland Empire manager Jonathan Vasquez, after yet another defeat, said: "We don't want to panic. At the same time, we need to stop the bleeding."
