Banner Island Ballpark was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Stockton Ports and Lake Elsinore Storm.

The Stockton Ports topped the Lake Elsinore Storm, 4-3, in California League action at Banner Island Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Stockton pitcher and Tijuana, Mexico, native Pedro Sambrano. The loss makes Lake Elsinore 53-39.

The Ports got a big at-bat from left fielder Takao Wilson. For the game, Wilson went 1-4 with a home run. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Stockton a 4-3 lead.

"I was able to change speeds effectively tonight," said Sambrano.
