The game ended in walk-off fashion, much to the delight of the home crowd.

Led by David Lynch, the Bakersfield Blaze defeated the Inland Empire 66ers, 7-5, in 11 innings. Lynch went 2 for 5 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Blaze. Antonio Roman earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record is now 4-0.

Bakersfield relied on the hitting of Brian Kiehn to pick up the win. The second baseman ripped a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Blaze on top, 6-5. For the game, Kiehn had 1 triple and 3 singles in 6 at-bats.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Lynch.

Bakersfield bumps their record to 40-56 with the win.
