Quakes Rally For 7-4 Win
The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes had to overcome a big game from Lancaster second baseman Alberto Rojas to leave LoanMart Field with a victory. And they did, winning, 7-4. Rojas was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 times. Alejandro Lozano, who is tied for 7th in the CAL with a 1.17 WHIP, was the winner in relief. His record is now 9-4. The losing pitcher was Manny Storm. The Quakes raised their record to 66-30.

Victor de la Rosa drove in one run for Rancho Cucamonga. The 23-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Manny Storm. It was his 57th RBI of the season.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said de la Rosa, "one at-bat at a time."
