The Milwaukee Brewers got a magnificent effort from pitcher Ray Dunham, who kept Cincinnati hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Brewers win at Great American Ball Park. Wally Sharp collected save number 2. With the loss, Cincinnati falls to 10-4.

Milwaukee used a clutch at-bat from Alex Flores to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Brewers ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Tough loss," said Cincinnati manager BJ Gorman. "But we'll learn from it."
