Kauffman Powers Storm to 12-5 Win
Lake Elsinore first baseman Josh Kauffman contributed significantly to his team's 12-5 win over the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. Kauffman, who is tied for 9th in the CAL in total bases with 160, went 4 for 5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Storm. Rancho Cucamonga has now lost 8 consecutive games.

Lake Elsinore got a big at-bat from Yonkers, New York native Bobby King, who in the bottom of the second hit a 2-run double. It was his 22nd double of the season and put the Storm ahead, 4-0.

"This losing is getting old," said Rancho Cucamonga manager Francisco Rosales.
