JetHawks Topple Mavericks, 2-1

Cao-Ky Tran-Thanh, who is tied for 3rd in the CAL with a 11.4 K/9 rate, played a key role in a gritty 2-1 Lancaster JetHawks win against the High Desert Mavericks. Lancaster, now 59-42, holds down third place in the South Division.
Lancaster used the hitting of Antonio Rodriguez to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the JetHawks on top, 2-0. For the game, Rodriguez had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We didn't string enough hits together to win the game," said tight-lipped High Desert manager Danny Alonso. "Obviously."
