Brewers Win Nail-Biter, 5-4
|
The Milwaukee Brewers overcame a big game from Philadelphia first baseman Craig Dolan to pick up a win at Citizens Bank Park. The final score was 5-4, Milwaukee, in 10 innings. Dolan went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. To call the performance of the 2111 Phillies subpar is an understatement.
Bernie Sanchez came through with a big-time hit for Milwaukee. The center fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Sanchez.
