In a tight contest at Recreation Park, the Visalia Rawhide edged the Lancaster JetHawks by the score of 6-5. Visalia shortstop Paul Nealer, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Carlos Neri picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-0. Jonathan Oyarzabal, who is tied for 7th in the CAL in strikeouts with 149, was tagged with the loss. At 59-46, the Rawhide claim second place in the North Division.

Ryan Evans took Lancaster hurler Jonathan Oyarzabal deep in the bottom of the fifth. His 2-run home run put the Rawhide on top, 6-5. In all, Evans had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
