Matt Archambault, who is tied for 10th in the CAL in quality starts with 11, pitched well, but the Visalia Rawhide still fell short, losing, 4-3, to the Lancaster JetHawks at Recreation Park. Andrew Wright closed it out for Lancaster, earning his 1st save. Lancaster now has a record of 57-49 with the win.
Joe West, who is tied for 7th in the CAL with a .479 slugging percentage, had a direct impact on the outcome. West contributed a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put Lancaster up, 2-0.
