Behind the hitting of Kai Robinson, the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes clipped the Stockton Ports, 6-5. Robinson went 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk for the Quakes. Picking up his 23rd save was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Eric Schmidt. The victory gives the Quakes a record of 68-41.

Rancho Cucamonga took a 6-3 lead on Barret Feldman's 2nd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Feldman hit in the top of the seventh, left Stockton pitcher Alex Salcido visibly frustrated.

"If we play well, we'll win our share of games," said Feldman. "The only team that can beat us is us."
