JetHawks, Boatwright Deal Nuts 2-1 Setback
|
Pitcher Jeremiah Boatwright was sensational for the Lancaster JetHawks in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Modesto Nuts. Boatwright picked up the win, and it was well-earned. The save was credited to Ben Montgomery, his 9th. Lancaster, at 58-51, occupies second place in the South Division.
Boatwright scattered 4 hits over 7 innings for the JetHawks. With the win, Boatwright goes to 11-7 on the year with 205 strikeouts.
"Tough win," said Boatwright. "We had to earn it."
