The Visalia Rawhide got a superb performance from pitcher David Stover. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Inland Empire. The 66ers won the game, 3-2. Stover threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Rich Velez earned the save for Inland Empire, his 1st of the year. Inland Empire is now 40-71. Visalia is 58-53.

Sean Donahue had a big hit for Inland Empire in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Inland Empire trailing 2-1, Donahue hit a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the 66ers up, 3-2.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Donahue said.
