The home crowd had a good time watching the Los Angeles Angels and Texas Rangers get after it.

The Texas Rangers received a superlative performance from starting pitcher Tyler Gaskins, allowing them to bump off the Los Angeles Angels, 5-0. The loss has the Angels at 6-7.

Tyler Gaskins was masterful. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8.2 innings.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Gaskins.
