Storm Fall Short at San Jose, 5-4
The San Jose Giants did just enough to sneak past the Lake Elsinore Storm, 5-4, at San Jose Municipal Stadium. San Jose pitcher Mike Miller, in particular, had a standout performance. San Jose bumps their record to 64-51 with the win.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 19th inning, when San Jose catcher Chris Meyer, facing Elliot Courtney, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Giants the 5-4 win.

"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager Rogelio Ramirez.
