The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes got a sterling performance from shortstop Ennio Macciocchi, but the Lake Elsinore Storm still prevailed, 4-3. Macciocchi was 3-4 with 2 doubles. Jen-kan Tow notched his 1st save of the season. Lake Elsinore is now 64-53, while Rancho Cucamonga is 65-52.

Josh Kauffman, who is tied for 8th in the CAL in total bases with 189, had a direct impact on the outcome. Kauffman contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the second inning to put Lake Elsinore up, 4-1.

"I was seeing the ball well tonight," said Kauffman.
