Danny Cruz was locked in. The right-hander led the Lancaster JetHawks to a 4-3 win against the Modesto Nuts at The Hanger. Reliever Mike Belliveau picked up the win. His record improves to 4-7. Jeff Borrego took the loss. Lancaster now sports a record of 61-57.

John Cheshire did the little things right to help the team for Lancaster. With two out and the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, Cheshire had a clutch at-bat. Facing Modesto hurler Jeff Borrego, he reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run to give the JetHawks a 4-3 lead.
