66ers 4-2 Losers to Visalia

Visalia picked up a win at Recreation Park, bumping off the Inland Empire 66ers, 4-2. Pitcher Adam Hallett was a major reason the Rawhide emerged victorious. The winning pitcher was Hallett, now 12-8. He tossed 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 9. Juan Fierros earned the save for Visalia, his 11th of the year.
In the bottom of the first inning, right fielder Emilio Martinez had a 2-run home run for Visalia. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Rawhide on top, 2-0.
"Adam's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said Visalia manager Josh Millender.
The last-place 66ers dropped to 46-72.
