The Lake Elsinore Storm got a stellar performance from pitcher Matt Cant, who handcuffed the Stockton offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Banner Island Ballpark. Jonathan Remien earned his 7th save, after closing out the game.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Evan Weinstein? The Lake Elsinore right fielder had a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Storm on top, 3-0. For the game, Weinstein had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Weinstein.
